From Drama Queen to Cricket Royalty: Sana Javed, Shoaib Malik's Wife

Sana Javed was born on June 6, 1993, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Pakistani parents. Her family is originally from Hyderabad Deccan.

After completing her school and college education at the Pakistan International School in Jeddah, she moved to Lahore with her family.

Sana Javed began her career as a young model and appeared in television commercials before transitioning to acting.

She made her acting debut with a supporting role in the 2012 series "Mera Pehla Pyar" and had a small appearance in "Shehr-e-Zaat" in the same year.

Sana rose to prominence in 2016 with an antagonist role in Hum TV's romantic drama "Zara Yaad Kar" opposite Zahid Ahmed and Yumna Zaidi.

In 2017, Javed made her film debut in the socio-comedy film "Mehrunisa V Lub U" opposite Danish Taimoor.

She received recognition for her portrayal of the titular role in the romantic drama "Khaani" and earned a Lux Style Awards nomination.

Her role in "Ruswai" as a rape survivor garnered critical acclaim and won her the PISA Award for Best Actress Critics.

In 2020, Sana Javed became the captain of the team Islamabad Dragons in Jeeto Pakistan League, a Ramadan special reality show.

She married former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in a ceremony at her home in Karachi, and both shared their wedding images on Instagram.
