The new Carnival will receive updated features and a new hybrid petrol engine. It will be presented in a fully loaded four-seat version named high-limousine with a seven-seat and nine-seat layout. Globally, it may be available with a 3.5-liter V6, 1.6-liter full-hybrid, and 2.2-liter diesel. It can be launched in India in mid-2024.
EV9:
The launch list of Kia also includes the three-row seating EV9 SUV. It was showcased as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, and its production version will come in 2024. In India, it will be presented in 2WD and 4WD options with a range of 400-500 kilometers based on its variant. All variants of the EV9 are three-row seat models, with the six-seat option available only in the 4WD GT-line. This car could be the first three-row seat electric car in India. Its estimated price could be around 90 lakhs.
